So Is This Bringing Us Closer Or Driving Us Apart?

From: "The Mad Dater"

Subject: "You do not truly know someone until you fight them."

Hey Bastard:

So this is what my Free Will Horoscope says this week -
"You do not truly know someone until you fight them." That's one of my favorite lines in the film "The Matrix Reloaded." The oracle's bodyguard, Seraph, says this to the hero, Neo, after starting a brouhaha with him. It seems Seraph doesn't necessarily want to kick Neo's ass, but rather find out more about him so as to determine whether he can be trusted to consult with the oracle. Take this wisdom to heart, Capricorn. I suspect you'll have some interesting conflicts in the coming weeks. Their purpose is to bring you closer to the people you'll struggle with, not drive you apart.

So is this bringing us closer or driving us apart? It's getting tiresome that I have to feel like I can't call you or ask to see you I mean that crazy. So I thought back to why I "think" that I like you. Here's what I cam up with:

The first two times that we went out I didn't feel like I do now. I didn't feel like I was in the wrong for asking to see you or has to share you with whoever is on the other end of your phone. Funny thing is, your phone was turned off on both those occasions. Granted, because of current circumstances I know that this can't be the case. You would think at a time like this that you would want to see me. But I must be some type of crazy problem for you. Beats me.

Most people would think that I would see you more. But I knew that I would see you less. I even wrote it down on a piece of paper as witness to what I knew would happen. Unlike that other person you're seeing, I'm actually here 10 minutes away from you. So treat me like it!

If you would like someone to listen to your problem, see a shrink. If you need someone to bounce business ideas off of, join a networking group. If you need someone to do all of that, ACTUALLY SEE ME. I'm very cute!

Again I ask - So is this bringing us closer or driving us apart? 'Cause I said last week I'm not happy.

Ummm...guess what he can't see me. Yet he can spend 20 minutes talking about business problems with me. Am I a shrink? Or is just Self-Centered and thinks that his needs and wants and problems should be mine? And that mine don't matter. I still like the bastard.
